When saving Microsoft Word documents to PDF format, avoid using the Export or Save as method. However, use the following steps:

  1. Click File > Print > in Printer, select the Microsoft Print to PDF > then press the Print button.
  2. Make sure the Best for printing and electronic distribution option is checked.
  3. Check the generated PDF document at EDP Sciences' PDF analyzer.
